In the run up to Christmas Radway has been putting on a few special events. Our Sunday Show jumping was a complete hit again, with the addition of a LOT of tinsel! Check out our facebook page for some brilliant photos of our horses and ponies (courtesy of Cassie and Henri Senn). If you like the look of the competition, our next one is almost upon us, on the 8th January.

Again our Radway Riders and Liveries has turned their hands and hooves to dressage with great success! Riders Lorraine and Nikki on Tyson and Oakley respectively did extremely well (8th for Lorraine and 3rd for Nikki)! Cassie, Jenny and Emma were all placed on their own horses, and it seems Angela has found her forte with Gameboy, achieveing another pink rosette!
As the weather draws in we are beginning to think about letting our ponies have some time off to frolic in the (fast approaching) snow.
Our Christmas Schedule looks like this;
23rd December, Christmas Gymkhana. From 5-7 for the little ponies or those wanting a slightly slower pace of race, and from 7 to 9 for those with a need for speed. Speak to Jo if you are unsure which group to enter into.
24th to 26th Closed
27th December, Christmas hack to the local pub. Leaving around 11 and on for at least 2 hours we are taking a group out to get a bit of fresh air and away from the mounds of washing up! The price for this is £50, but please book in advance as we only have a limited number of places.
28th December, Pony Club day and Evening lessons with Jo. The pony club day will run from 10-5, so if you are already feeling the strain of the new set of drums, or play station game…pony club is the perfect opportunity for some rest!
29th December, Jethro is available for group or private lessons.
30th December, Closed
31st December, open as usual on any other Saturday. Please confirm dates and times with Maggie or Lana in the office so we can ensure you don’t miss out.
1st and 2nd January, Closed
Since the last newsletter we have had to say goodbye to two riding school ponies who have left us to got to two lovely homes; Leo and Blubell. We wish both families the best of luck with two fantastic, genuine horses.
